Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across 3PL carriers and freight networks
- Optimize load planning and route efficiency using TMS software (Manhattan, Oracle)
- Manage customs documentation and compliance for cross-border shipments
- Resolve shipment exceptions and provide real-time tracking updates
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely dock scheduling
- Analyze shipping KPIs and implement cost-reduction strategies
- Maintain compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS platforms and EDI systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with Excel/Power BI expertise
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Experience with hazardous materials shipping protocols
