Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Manage inventory levels and warehouse operations to prevent stockouts
- Act as primary liaison between vendors, carriers, and internal departments
- Implement cost-effective shipping strategies using TMS software
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and maintain 100% compliance with DOT/FDA regulations
- Generate weekly performance reports for senior leadership
- Train junior coordinators on SOPs and emerging logistics technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (Oracle Transportation Management preferred)
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Strong analytical skills with ability to optimize routing and reduce costs
- OSHA Hazmat certification or willingness to obtain
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in data visualization
