Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end shipping operations including documentation compliance, carrier negotiations, and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routing using advanced TMS platforms to reduce costs by 15% quarterly
- Manage inventory coordination between warehouses and distribution centers
- Lead crisis resolution for shipment delays and carrier disruptions
- Analyze logistics KPIs and implement process improvements
- Train junior coordinators on SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with international partners for multi-modal shipments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination with LTL/FTL expertise
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (Manhattan, Descartes) and WMS systems
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or CSCP designation preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and data visualization
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and DOT/FMC regulations
- Proven track record of reducing transportation costs
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
