Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations, including documentation, carrier selection, and route optimization
- Manage inventory control systems and warehouse logistics to ensure accurate stock levels
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions for delivery delays
- Collaborate with customs brokers and international partners for cross-border shipments
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international shipping regulations
- Train junior coordinators on shipping protocols and WMS software operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan preferred)
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or equivalent logistics certification
- Expert knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping, customs procedures, and Incoterms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping metrics and KPIs
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and crisis management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
