Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments via LTL, FTL, and intermodal carriers using TMS platforms
- Optimize routing and freight consolidation to achieve 95%+ on-time delivery rate
- Manage customs documentation for international shipments through ACE/ACE eManifest
- Collaborate with warehouse team to resolve inventory discrepancies and dock scheduling
- Analyze shipping KPIs to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Train junior coordinators on SOPs and carrier negotiation tactics
- Act as primary liaison between sales, warehouse, and carrier partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping coordination experience in 3PL or manufacturing
- Proficiency in TMS software (Blue Yonder, Manhattan WMS preferred)
- OSHA Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Expert knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and hazmat handling
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Data analytics experience with Excel/Power BI for freight optimization
- Proven track record of reducing shipping costs by 15%+
- Strong problem-solving skills during high-volume peak seasons
