Responsibilities
- Technical Auditing: Conduct comprehensive site audits to identify crawlability, indexing, and semantic structure issues.
- Site Architecture: Optimize site structure, URL hierarchies, and internal linking strategies to maximize crawl efficiency and keyword authority.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate with developers to improve page load speeds, reduce bounce rates, and achieve high Google Core Web Vitals scores.
- Schema Markup: Implement and audit structured data (JSON-LD) to enhance SERP visibility with rich snippets and knowledge panels.
- Server & Caching: Manage server configurations, implement caching strategies, and resolve canonicalization issues to prevent duplicate content penalties.
- Mobile Optimization: Ensure full mobile-friendliness and responsiveness across all devices and screen sizes.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor organic traffic trends, keyword rankings, and conversion rates using Google Analytics and Search Console.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Technical SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic visibility for high-traffic websites.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP/Python. Ability to read and debug code.
- Tools: Expert knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and GTmetrix.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and developers.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting and debugging SEO issues.
