Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse machinery (order pickers, forklifts) with precision and safety compliance
- Optimize inventory management through cycle counting and stock rotation systems
- Maintain quality control standards for outgoing shipments and damaged goods processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve daily productivity targets
- Adhere to OSHA and Amazon's safety protocols in all operational activities
- Train new associates on warehouse procedures and equipment operation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience with heavy machinery operation
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, WMS)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holiday seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical assessment
