Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, hazardous materials)
- Track and trace shipments using TMS/WMS systems for real-time visibility
- Resolve logistics disruptions through proactive carrier communication
- Optimize freight costs through carrier negotiations and route planning
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipment databases
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams on delivery timelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years in shipping/logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of NM DOT regulations and interstate commerce laws
- Strong analytical skills for cost optimization and route analysis
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification preferred
- High school diploma; supply chain degree preferred
