Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers and modes (truck, rail, air)
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, compliance paperwork)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and proactively resolve delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient dock scheduling and load planning
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international shipping regulations
- Act as primary liaison between carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS software (Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and LTL/FTL shipping practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid California driver's license and clean MVR record
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- OSHA Hazmat certification a plus
