Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments using TMS software (SAP preferred)
- Manage freight quotes, carrier negotiations, and cost optimization
- Oversee warehouse inventory control and dock scheduling
- Prepare customs documentation (CBP filings, commercial invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit exceptions
- Collaborate with sales team on customer shipping requirements
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for shipping workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with documentation experience
- Proficiency in TMS systems and MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and customs regulations
- Strong analytical skills for cost-benefit analysis
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- APICS or CSCM certification preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
