Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for domestic and international freight
- Manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance with shipping regulations
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to internal stakeholders
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs forms, manifests)
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams for integrated logistics
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in shipping software (e.g., Oracle TMS, Descartes) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations (FMC, IATA, customs compliance)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
