Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping operations, including order processing, carrier selection, and route optimization
- Manage inventory tracking and reconciliation using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and address customer inquiries proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and international teams for seamless delivery
- Analyze shipping metrics to reduce costs and improve delivery times
- Ensure compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma; associate's degree in logistics/supply chain preferred
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or warehouse operations
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., Oracle TMS, Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in high-volume environments
- Basic data analysis experience with Excel/Power BI
- Forklift certification a plus
