Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with customs regulations
- Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, manifests)
- Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and resolve transit issues
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and provide proactive status updates
- Optimize shipping routes to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency
- Work closely with warehouse and sales teams to align shipping schedules
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for shipping processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or ShipStation)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask under pressure
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for interfacing with carriers and internal teams
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
