Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international freight shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage customs documentation and compliance for international shipments
- Optimize route planning to minimize transit times and costs
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms like SAP or Oracle
- Resolve logistics disruptions through proactive carrier communication
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for inventory synchronization
- Generate shipping reports for management and client accounts
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field
- 3+ years experience in shipping/transportation coordination
- Proficiency with customs regulations (HTSUS, NAFTA)
- Expertise in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or JDA)
- Strong negotiation skills with carrier partners
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments during peak seasons
- OSHA and DOT compliance knowledge
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish preferred
