We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to orchestrate seamless logistics operations across our southwestern distribution network. This pivotal role ensures timely deliveries, optimizes freight costs, and maintains exceptional customer satisfaction in our fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage inventory documentation, including BOLs, customs forms, and packing lists
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and proactively resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules and dock efficiency
- Build and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and key clients
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle Transportation, SAP) and WMS systems
- Certified Customs Broker or ISTA shipping credentials preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and LCL/FCL shipping protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to manage tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field required
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10 training a plus
