Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and process accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve any logistics issues, delays, or customs discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
- Maintain precise records of shipping data, inventory levels, and logistics costs within our ERP system.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal shipping regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shipping Coordinator, Logistics Assistant, or in a similar supply chain support role.
- Familiarity with logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Miami metropolitan area as needed.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs clearance procedures is highly preferred.
