Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping/receiving activities across 3+ warehouse locations
- Optimize freight routes using TMS software to reduce transit costs by 15%
- Manage customs documentation for international shipments (NAFTA experience required)
- Resolve delivery exceptions and maintain 99.5% on-time delivery rate
- Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and service agreements
- Generate shipment reports and KPI dashboards for leadership review
- Implement lean inventory management practices across 50+ SKUs
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (Oracle Transportation preferred)
- OSHA/FMCSA compliance certification
- Strong analytical skills with Excel/Power BI expertise
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible shifts
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Forklift certification (OITC certified)
