Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including carrier selection, documentation preparation, and freight tracking
- Manage inventory levels and warehouse logistics to prevent shipment delays
- Resolve customs clearance issues and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain precise records of shipments, invoices, and delivery confirmations
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to align shipping schedules with customer demands
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures for shipping operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination with international exposure
- Proficiency in TMS software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to resolve transit disruptions
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain hazmat certification
