Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, certificates of origin)
- Monitor shipment tracking and resolve transit delays proactively
- Optimize freight routes to reduce costs and delivery times
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams for integrated logistics
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and international trade regulations
- Implement continuous improvements in shipping processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Forklift certification preferred
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field required
