Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier negotiations
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software and proactively resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory management and order fulfillment
- Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations (IATA, IMDG, FMC)
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs while meeting delivery deadlines
- Generate shipping reports and KPIs for continuous improvement initiatives
- Build relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or relevant logistics certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for documentation accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving abilities for shipment disruptions
- Knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and trade compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
