Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, including scheduling carriers and tracking freight
- Maintain accurate inventory records and warehouse documentation
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and logistics issues proactively
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to meet delivery timelines
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage relationships with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers
- Prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Proficiency in WMS and TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and freight classifications
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Effective communication skills for cross-department collaboration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Forklift certification preferred
