Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ground, ocean)
- Manage inventory control, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Process customs documentation and compliance for cross-border shipments
- Optimize routing to minimize costs while meeting delivery SLAs
- Liaise with vendors, carriers, and customers to resolve shipment issues
- Implement and maintain warehouse management system (WMS) protocols
- Generate shipping reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with multi-modal experience
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and hazardous materials
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10 certification a plus
