Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile shipping discrepancies
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive status updates to stakeholders
- Negotiate rates and manage relationships with freight carriers
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in shipping processes
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics role
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export/import regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
