Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across air, ocean, and ground freight
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices) with 100% accuracy
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and proactively communicate delays
- Negotiate rates with carriers and optimize routing for cost efficiency
- Liaise with customs brokers, warehouses, and clients to resolve shipment issues
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
- Generate shipment reports and KPI dashboards for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination with direct LTL/FTL experience
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active, Blue Yonder)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with high-pressure situations
- Valid California driver's license and clean MVR record
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish preferred
- OSHA Hazmat certification a plus
