Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers and delivery methods
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse stock rotation systems
- Liaise with customs brokers and international freight forwarders for cross-border shipments
- Generate and maintain shipping documentation (BOLs, manifests, customs forms)
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs and transit times
- Resolve shipping discrepancies through proactive communication with stakeholders
- Implement and maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field
- 3+ years' experience in shipping coordination or warehouse operations
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for documentation accuracy
- OSHA Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends for critical shipments
