Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and verify all necessary shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Track shipments in real-time and communicate any delays or issues to stakeholders immediately.
- Collaborate with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal sales teams to resolve logistics bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping logs, inventory movements, and delivery receipts.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Proven proficiency with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record are preferred.
