We're seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage end-to-end shipping operations, ensuring seamless movement of goods across domestic and international channels. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for reliability and efficiency in the maritime industry.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via ocean, air, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, certificates of origin)
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for timely loading/unloading
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate carrier rates
- Ensure compliance with TSA, FDA, and CBP regulations
- Generate shipment reports and maintain logistics databases
Qualifications
- 3+ years in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms® 2020 and export compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Forklift certification preferred
