Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers (LTL, FTL, air freight)
- Manage documentation: bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and proactively resolve delays
- Optimize warehouse inventory through cycle counting and reconciliation
- Build/maintain relationships with 3PL partners and transportation vendors
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Train staff on new shipping protocols and regulatory updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination or warehouse management
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active preferred)
- Familiarity with Incoterms, customs brokerage, and hazardous materials handling
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret shipping metrics
- Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
