Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers (LTL, FTL, Air, Ocean)
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, certificates of origin) with 99.8% accuracy
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve transportation delays through carrier negotiations and alternative routing
- Optimize freight costs through lane analysis and carrier contract management
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for dock scheduling and load optimization
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in shipping processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years in freight coordination or supply chain operations
- Proficient in TMS software (Manhattan, Descartes, or similar)
- Certification in Logistics (CLTD, CSCP) or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs regulations
- Strong analytical skills for cost-benefit analysis of shipping options
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities during transit disruptions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment
