We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Coordinator to join our dynamic team in San Jose, CA. As a key player in our logistics operations, you will ensure the seamless flow of goods from origin to destination, supporting our mission to deliver excellence in supply chain management.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate Shipment Schedules: Manage inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely pickup and delivery of all shipments.
- Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and process shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOL), commercial invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Carrier Liaison: Communicate effectively with third-party logistics providers and carriers to resolve issues and negotiate rates.
- Inventory Tracking: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movements to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure all shipping activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
