As a Shipping Coordinator, you will play a critical role in our daily operations, acting as the primary point of contact for freight carriers and internal departments. We value accuracy, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve any logistical issues or delays immediately.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and clients to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and inventory levels in the ERP system.
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate rates with third-party logistics providers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight coordination.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
