Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end shipping process, including scheduling carriers, preparing bills of lading, and tracking shipments in real-time.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff and transportation vendors to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation in our ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience preferred).
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and troubleshoot delivery issues to minimize downtime.
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and address any logistics concerns professionally.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and recommend process improvements for cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight coordination is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during warehouse operations.
