Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for high-value tech shipments
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate competitive rates
- Prepare and verify customs documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, certificates)
- Monitor real-time shipment tracking and proactively resolve delays
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading schedules
- Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations (ITAR, EAR)
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (Descartes, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and export compliance
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or equivalent preferred
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to prioritize in high-pressure situations
