Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across air, sea, and ground freight channels
- Manage documentation compliance (customs forms, bills of lading, commercial invoices)
- Optimize transportation routes and negotiate carrier rates
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Liaise with warehouse teams for timely loading/unloading operations
- Implement inventory control systems for shipping materials
- Generate performance reports for logistics optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Descartes)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs regulations
- Exceptional Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table expertise
- OSHA certification for hazardous materials handling preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities
