Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments using TMS software to ensure timely delivery
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Collaborate with carriers, warehouses, and clients to resolve logistics issues
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates to reduce costs
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive status updates
- Conduct monthly logistics performance analysis
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight coordination or logistics role
- Proficiency with TMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-pressure situations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
