Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL)
- Manage order processing, documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, customs forms), and compliance
- Optimize freight routes using TMS software to minimize costs and transit times
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve delivery exceptions
- Liaise with warehouse teams for inventory accuracy and dock scheduling
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for shipping workflows
- Maintain client communication through shipment status updates and issue resolution
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in shipping/transportation coordination with multi-carrier exposure
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle Transportation, Blue Yonder)
- Expertise in Incoterms, customs brokerage, and hazardous materials handling
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation
