Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation: customs forms, bills of lading, and compliance certificates
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive status updates to stakeholders
- Optimize routes and negotiate freight rates to reduce transportation costs
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and address carrier issues
- Maintain accurate shipping records in ERP/TMS systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficient with TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Descartes)
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure during peak shipping seasons
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
