Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments, resolve delivery discrepancies, and manage carrier communication effectively.
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate rates with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to reduce operational costs.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and shipping logs within the ERP system.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure proper packaging, labeling, and handling standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot potential shipping delays or issues before they impact customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of shipping regulations, Incoterms, and hazardous material handling procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with carriers and clients.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
