Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse receiving/shipping processes
- Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and ensure on-time delivery
- Act as primary liaison between clients, carriers, and internal departments
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with international shipping regulations and trade compliance
- Utilize TMS/WMS systems to monitor shipment status and generate reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certification in hazardous materials or international shipping preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for multi-stakeholder coordination
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and export compliance requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
