Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities, including order processing, documentation, and carrier scheduling
- Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse space utilization
- Track shipments using logistics software and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and collaborate with customs brokers for international shipments
- Prepare bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations
- Build and maintain relationships with freight carriers and shipping partners
- Conduct regular audits of shipping processes to ensure compliance with regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, warehousing, or logistics coordination
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or TMS systems)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, FTA)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
