Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers (LTL, FTL, Ocean, Air)
- Manage documentation: bills of lading, customs forms, and compliance paperwork
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and delays through carrier negotiations
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to optimize load planning and route efficiency
- Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping databases
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with TMS software (e.g., Oracle Transportation, SAP, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with carriers, clients, and internal teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training a plus
