Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse operations using WMS systems
- Act as primary liaison between carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate freight rates to reduce costs
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Resolve logistical disruptions and provide real-time shipment tracking updates
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to align shipping strategies
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and TMS platforms
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations (FCL/LCL, customs procedures)
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Forklift certification preferred
