Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and modes (air, ocean, ground)
- Manage documentation (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices) with 100% accuracy
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit delays
- Liaise with vendors, customs brokers, and warehouse teams
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and transit times
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
- Analyze shipping data to improve efficiency metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency in TMS systems (Descartes, MercuryGate) and MS Office Suite
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulations
- Ability to lift 25 lbs occasionally for inventory verification
