Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping operations and manage carrier relationships
- Process and track international/domestic shipments using logistics software
- Prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, customs forms, manifests)
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate carrier rates
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate warehouse transfers
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and ensure compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with sales and production teams for scheduling
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-volume environment
- Forklift certification preferred
- High school diploma required; supply chain degree preferred
