Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping operations via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping manifests
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to clients and internal teams
- Optimize freight costs through carrier negotiations and route planning
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and address customer inquiries
- Maintain compliance with international trade regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Associates degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
