Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping operations including order processing, documentation, and carrier selection
- Track and monitor shipments in real-time using TMS software to ensure on-time delivery
- Manage inventory levels and reconcile shipping discrepancies
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipment status
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate carrier rates to reduce costs
- Resolve shipping delays and exceptions with proactive solutions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of shipping/logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ShipStation)
- Strong knowledge of domestic/international shipping regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- High school diploma; supply chain certification preferred
- Valid driver's license
