Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping operations, ensuring timely dispatch of goods
- Manage inventory control and warehouse logistics to optimize stock levels
- Process documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping manifests
- Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and resolve shipping discrepancies
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive updates to stakeholders
- Implement process improvements to reduce shipping costs and transit times
- Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of shipping coordination or supply chain experience
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle TMS, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping regulations
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Forklift certification or warehouse management experience preferred
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in logistics preferred
