Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, sea, and ground carriers
- Manage documentation: bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping manifests
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient palletizing and crating
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and delivery times
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international trade regulations
- Act as primary point of contact for carrier partnerships and client inquiries
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination experience required
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs clearance processes
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish skills highly valued
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
