Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, tracking all milestones from order to delivery
- Manage inventory levels and optimize warehouse storage efficiency
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Collaborate with carriers to negotiate rates and resolve transit issues
- Implement shipping process improvements using logistics software
- Monitor compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards
- Provide real-time shipment status updates to internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in shipping/logistics coordination role
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ShipStation)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs procedures
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Forklift certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
