Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including carrier selection, route optimization, and documentation
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems, providing proactive status updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies through carrier negotiations and alternative routing solutions
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations for cross-border shipments
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to synchronize inventory levels with shipping schedules
- Analyze shipping performance metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Train staff on shipping protocols and new technology implementations
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination with LTL/FTL carrier networks
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certification in logistics/supply chain management (CSCP, CLTD) preferred
- Strong understanding of Incoterms 2020 and customs clearance procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
